Default Head from F22B direct replacement for F22B2?

I have a 94 accord. The head is destroyed...16 bent valves, broken cam and two dug out cam journals. Is the head from an F22B engine an exact replacement for the one on my F22B2 engine?

F22B as in the DOHC JDM head? No you would need to do much more to put it on.

No, the engine block is clearly stamped F22B2. It is a SOHC original head.

So you want to replace a f22b2 head with an f22b2 head correct? If so, yes this will work.

No, that is NOT correct. My question is, "Is the SOHC F22B an exact replacement for the SOHC F22B2?"

I guess I am not familiar with a F22B motor that is SOHC.

I'm also interested in knowing the answer to this question. I think there is some misunderstanding. The existing engine is a stock F22B2. The head has been thrashed as described. Will a F22B head work on the stock F22B2 engine? there's a guy selling an F22B head and it LOOKS identical to the F22B2.

Many Thanks!!!

I would say no. The F22B was a DOHC head out of a Prelude. A B2 head shouldn't be hard to come by, I actually have one from my 95... I can sell it, but it's all taken apart. I could rebuild it for you....
