Thank you for the information on the transmission fluid I'm just finishing up my two hundred thousand mile check up, early, 194,000 miles everything's done except antifreeze and transmission fluid and a fresh oil change--08 si orig owner
Wonder if I could bother you to take a guess at what it might be causing a flutter in the exhaust? standing behind my 08 Civic SI at idle there's a definite random without a pattern flutter--
that used to mean valve problems on Old Flathead Fords that's how old I am but I think maybe there are plates and brackets etc inside the exhaust system maybe in the converter etc that might be causing it? but I only think that? would you take a guess at what that might be? this car is very well maintained
I have Skype on my iPhone if you would if you require live listening and seeing it --we can do that- simply letting me know ahead of time to set it up not a big deal for me--
And thank you once again your transmission fluid is here no problem jeff bozo is on the ball...

Quite honestly, diagnosing such issues over the internet is quite the challenge, if not virtually impossible. That plus I've never spent any significant time with an Si of any generation. Have you had the codes read to see if the engine is throwing any?

No but it goes in next tue for the finishing up the 200000 mile maint. tranny fluid etc...runs great but will cover that then ..have already asked him and like most of these guys he takes a guess based on his experience in this case significant experience all he does is hondas he is the one that came up with loose **** in the exhaust and to start looking for another car --but just did the valves plugs runs great...I just know that flutter is not there on a new car of any kind. thank you
