Default Clean look

With fresh Mobil 1 on the inside and a clean AEM filter I thought I'd spruce up the little aluminum wonder.

Wow, thats amazing! How did you get it that clean? How long did it take you? My engine is SOOO dirty, and I really should clean it one of these days...

Wow...Looks really nice. I also need to clean mine! Is the black part plastic? I had a friend that once used Armor All on plastic under his hood and it attracted dirt like nothing else.

First I don't let it get horribly dirty. I used a little degreaser on a warm engine, then the power washer. I let it idle while I did other things so as to help dry it. Then I hit it with a BUNCH of rags to dry it off. Once that was done I sprayed it down with Stoner's More Shine. After 30 minutes or so I wiped off the excess and that's it.

Not if you're reasonable with it. I covered the cone filter and took care not to blast things like the alternator, etc.
