Well, first I am going to do my brother's car. He is off to basic training and air force tech school on Wednesday, we will do his car tomorrow.

My car got hit and run last weekend in Houston and it ripped off the front bumper, I will be taking it to the shop on Wednesday, will probably have it before the weekend (I hope) or sometime next week. So I am waiting until it is all back together before I do any body detailing. I want to get the wheels fixed up before I take it in if I have time.

I just tried the stuff on his car, just a test for now.....did you have any trouble with swirl marks?? Maybe I used too much pressure or something. I gotta wash some towels before we do much to it, I just had a few small ones left. I will take pics before and after tomorrow on his car.
Air Force boot? So he's enjoying San Antonio's mild climate, eh?[sm=devilgrin.gif]

Oh yeah, I hear it never gets hot down there..... Yeah right!

We want to get his car nice and clean before he leaves, I will be driving it while mine is getting fixed.

Cool, you will probably find that my name comes from that player. I used the name in a fantasy baseball gm league and I have used it since. One of my favorite players....

I just made that up in photoshop, thought it would be cool.

Default RE: Wet Paint? BEFORE AND AFTER!!

Here are some pics of his car. We pretty much did only Wet Paint, although a few areas are scratchX too from Meguiars. There are still some swirls on his paint, it is an absolute pain to buff for some strange reason. I don't think it is the product, but the paint.

I am working on sizing the pictures of the whole car now, here are some before/after ones I made up.

I will have some of mine as soon as I get it repaired and get a chance to detail it up.

Considering that the car is in bad need of a machine polish I think the WP did a fantastic job. The paint went from dull to bright & reflective. The oxidation was removed also, good work and thanks for the pictures. Please do the same with your car.

Yeah it needs a machine polish.....bad swirls. I dripped sweat on it right before we did it, it wouldn't even wipe off .

I don't have a good quality buffer, just one of those consumer-type orbital ones. We would like to polish his car, but I don't want to screw things up. What would I need to do??
