Default Windows Hazy / Oxydized - Help Plz!

I purchased my 05 Accord LX sedan from the New Jersey Shore area. The windows are hazy, and when the light shines through them at night it's very difficult to see. All the windows have this, however, the windshield does NOT have this hazy where the wipers contact the windshield. The only thing I can think of is that the "salty air", along with the car being outside all the time, oxidized the windows. Does this sound logical? And is there any suggestions (chemicals / polishing etc.) that anyone can suggest?

Hope this isn't a "flood" car

Anyway, I'm not an expert on this but here is a cheap try. A good glass cleaner - I like sprayway but that is me. Then with car soap or the glass cleaner. Take a razor blade and scrape the windows. The soap/cleaner is the lube for the blade. See what you have from there.......I'm also a big fan of rain-x.

The wipers will always leave fron cleaner where they work. If the haze is on the outside, there are a number of "glass scrub" products that will remove acid rain, small scratches, and light oxidation. I've use a couple that worked well, but it's been so long ago I don't remember the brands

I actually used steel wool (like a Brillo), then had a professional run his high speed buffer over the areas to polish it ... Worked great!
