Smile Thanks to Mikebike125

I have a 2009 LX-P and never liked the lumbar hump in the seatback. Your solution and directions are great. I modified my seatback per your directions this week and am very pleased with the results. The shape of the wires are different in my car, but with trial and error I made a new wire that worked. I was able to add three layers of the Walmart padding you suggested. Thanks so much.

Excellent! I am glad this thread has been helpful. It seems that some cars have slightly different wire setups. I'll tell anyone that wants to do this that it sin't really that hard, it just takes a little trial and error with the wire bending. I drove around with the back off my seat for about 2 weeks until I got it right. When it's right, it is so much better than what was originally in there.

I'm having some trouble unhooking the elastic strap that holds the fabric to the bottom of the seat in my 2012 EX-L. It appears as if it is permanently attached. Has anyone been able to remove it?

Attached to the end of the elastic is a plastic clip. I used a flashlight and a flat head screwdriver to remove.
