no trying to change the subject.... but since falkore payed some attention to this post....

can i make my f23 rev to like 8500 rpms? or is that only dohc motors?? that might get me a good 1st n 2nd launch and let 3rd gear

H23 head on a f block would work. 8.5k RPM? That's like death. live2rice has an h22 motor talk to him about high-revving.

^^^ so H23 for turbo and H22 head for NA.

8500 rpms is definately doable, but you're going to need to upgrade the bearings on the lower end and the valves/springs/retainers on the top end. Preferably, when you do this, you will also get custon needle bearing rockers, Darton sleeves, a block guard, Carillo rods and +1mm valves ..... micropolish the crank and blueprint the engine.

ERL in AZ does the entire lower end for $3200 for a tC motor ..... it's similar to a K24. The head work should be another $1000.
