03 Accord - New clutch kit 5 speed manual
I bought a 2003 5 speed Accord from a friend and it needs a new clutch kit. Any ideas on cost to install? I know parts are roughly $300. Repair pal has estimated $1,400 but that seemed waayyyy high to me.. any thought? Thanks all!

It depends...
For starters, I think $300 might be a little low unless you are not buying a new flywheel, something I strongly recommend you buy.
As for the labor costs, I figure you can expect to pay between four and five hundred dollars in addition to the cost of the parts.

Hey thanks for the quick reply shipo! I did some research and exedy makes then OEM clutch kits for Honda atleast the year I’m looking at and the kit with flywheel is running about $230 shipped! From Amazon. appr I ate the info. I just need a ride for my wife to drive from south GA to Atlanta once a month 250 miles each way so basically just a highway beater for a couple years.
