I was just looking at my engine and it appears that there it has a cold air intake on it from the factory. There is ductwork from the air box to the area in front of the tire (outside the engine compartment). Is this new for the 06 or is it something else?

 

You mean a oval shaped cutout by the wheel? If so....its nto new...haha. Like all accords have that. Mine does. I really doubt they would put a cold air intake on an accord.

Most coldair intakes go down there obviously...like mine. More the length, more coldness. But if you want more power...get a short ram intake...:P

 

yea i agree with the short ram, i like them the best. and yea every accord has what your talking about.
