i would like to know that if the speed sensor goes out does the odometer stop working or do i have to replace the hole unit that is mounted into the trans

my speed sensor stopped working know speedometer
there is know odometer as well
any suggestions

I personally dont have an answer for you and I'm without an idea...so when that happens I turn to my HONDA dealer, I suggest you do the same and save yourself a lot of greif worring about it.
