speed sensor 1990 accord

does anyone know if the speed sensor controlls the speedometer as well the odometer
or does the assembly that the sensor controll the odometer

The vehicle speed sensor controls both the speedometer and the odometer, also the cruise control wont work if the VSS is bad.

and I would guess that the problem you experiencing doesn't have anything to do with Speed Sensor [8D]
