The problem i have out of this car is that when the ignition is set to off position with out the key Nothing works...When i say nothing work the doors wont lock the headlights wont come on..nothing...but when i switch the car on everything is fine all the lights work the door locks and windows....also its very hard to start this car too..i think statring has something to do with the main relay cuz i checked everything but that...my question is why wont nothing work when my car is switched off...i cant even lock my doors withe remote.....please help..thanks

 

It sounds like the previous owner rewired the ignition for it to behave that way. If not, I-d say that the electrical portion of the switch is messed up ...... the only thing that I can see is that there is a short in the line that cuts off the car-s power when you crank the engine.
