Default 2000 Honda Accord SE 2.3l

So, my husband got me a 2000 Honda Accord for my first car. It’s needed a transmission swap. So replaced it with one that had 56k miles on it. Got the car driving no issues. Parked it and next day went to start it and sounded like the starter was going just not engaging the flywheel. After testing a few things out found out the timing slipped by a lot and bent a valve or a few. So we replaced the motor. Has been driving for about a week with the new motor and it happened again. Any ideas would be great. When doing the motor swap didn’t need to touch anything on the timing with the swap. New motor also is under warranty. But what would cause this on two different motors. If any ideas would greatly appreciate any. Thank you
