2003 Honda accord hard start up
Hello everyone..i recently purchased a 2003 Honda accord coupe ex-l. The gentlemen i bought it from told me the reason the car had a hard start up it's because it needs a battery and that it's been sitting for a while.when i took it to my mechanic..he said there's only one wire going from the negative terminal of the battery to the fender and there's no other wire from the battery to the engine block..he said there's nothing going to the engine block..he put another battery in and it had the same hard start up..he said u may beef another starter if he puts the wire in and it still weak start up..is anyone have Abby on issue?

I think it's normal to have only one negative battery cable to the body. But then there's ALSO a big grounding cable from the engine to the body. Maybe THAT one is missing?
Also... check for dirty/loose/corroded ends of all those cables. I've see corrosion where the end-lug is crimped onto the wire itself, so check for that too. You could measure voltage drop across a wire while cranking the starter.
