the service that you are talking about, is that an extended care plan where all your oil changes etc. are pre-paid or an extended warranty?

I think extended care plans are awesome since you can finance them in if you buy it at the time of purchase, buying it from the dealer vs. over the internet is a wise decision since it gets you established with them.
I was asking about the extended warranty...not the service plan. BTW...the extended warranty is MUCH cheaper thru an internet dealer offer. I think some dealer charge nearly $2,000 for the 8yr/120,000 miles extended warranty. You can buy on the internet for about $900...SAME Honda contract.

I have probably have decided not to buy the extended warranty...Tom R

Well...got my color...Basque Red Pearl...but had to pay a "trailer fee" to get a dealer trade from a couple of states away. Wife made the choice that the $400 was worth it to her to get the red rather than the metallic Gray. Since she is the driver...and we tend to keep our cars about 10 years...it is OK. S/B here by next Monday or Tuesday. Evidently the Basque Red Pearl is less than 10% of Accords produced...and the manual 4cyl really cuts down on that selection.

Thanks...Tom R

You do realize that I demand pictures right? I would rather pay the fee as opposed to a crazed youngin' driving it wide open from the other dealer. DO check the mileage when it arrives.

Pictures are a must... I haven't seen the basque red pearl and it sounds sweet.

In fact I've yet to see a 2008 Accord of any type in person!

Try this...if it works! It is a 6cyl...but you get the idea. Think I should add the body side moldings...parking lot door protectors. The ones in the picture are dealer added. Tom R

Nice......very nice. Door dings are inevitable but if the moldings are reasonable in cost I would want them. I feel that they are functional and don't detract from the look at all, subjective eye of the beholder thing though.

The side moldings are great for other cars, but when an SUV or truck dings your door your screwed.

The fact is that it IS going to happen but the moldings will (hopefully) minimize it.
