Default 5th gen motor question

Does anyone know if the c27a engine (2.7) can be swapped for a c30a or a c32a? I have a 5th gen v6. I don't know what the dimensions are or if the motor mounts are in the same place. that's all im really asking. Does anyone know if it's a simple bolt in swap? or maybe someone knows someone they can ask. my 2.7 is nearing the end of it's life and im thinking since they are both c class motors maybe i can get a little extra out of the swap.

btw: the c30 and c32 come in older acuras and the 2.7 is originally from the legend.

Wow...that's pretty sweet. But the NSX engine needs to be worked on to unleash the monster lurking beneath it. (*grumbles* like all Honda engines...)

You mean except for the c27a. there is no monster beneath it. it's a heavy piece of momma motor. It's been reliable... but it's heavy and slow.

So you have any links or information on the guy that swapped the nsx motor into the v6 5th gen?

i'll try and find it, i saw it on cardomain and he claimed he was the only person ever to do it, so i'm guessing it takes quite a bit of work. and i dont think NSX motors are exactly readily available

Well, every motor has its potential.

oh well i guess i'll just pop an h22a in when it dies. im giving up on the idea. I'm sure the 2.7 has potential but since it's not so common that potential will stay where it is.

Ahh, no wonder why. the C27a is SOHC non-VTEC. try the C30a?
