i'm having a problem with my cars cooling system. it warms up when standing still and blows hot heat, but when moving the heat cools and the gage drops. I got a thermostat to put in but are there any other possible problems? I heard it could be a possible vaccum leak but not sure how that would affect it?

 

Really sounds like a bad thermostat (stuck open) to me.
