My transmission has been acting wierd lately. The D4 light flashes somedays and others it doesn't. When it does flash the tranny won't shift properly. It stays in one gear the whole time. When it doesn't flash it will shift correctly but only when in D3. If in D4 it won't shift. Also, regaurdless of the flashing or not, my revesre doesn't work. Any ideas as to what might be happening?

Theres a sensor in the middle console right where the shifter is

where the shifter conects with the tranny cable you can see like a plastic box relatively small

you have to take it apart wash it with soap water - regrease it with white grease (while you're there clean everything around) put it back together.
