94 Accord Transmission Issues
Hi Guys, I'm posting this thread about my sisters car. She has a 94 accord with 140k on it what happens is that if i go to put the car in drive it will click in and drive for a split second but it will be slipping and the shifts will flare up in between gears. Then it will just get progressively worse to the point where the motor is just running freely and I have no gear at all. If i select reverse it will do pretty much the same thing. I just did a fluid change last week as the tranny was shifting a little hard and it went fine, there was quite a bit of clutch material on the plug but no large chunks, and I have no CEL or blinking D4 light.
I'm a chevy LSX series guy and dont really know much about the tranny in these cars. I assume just from my knowledge it sounds like the clutches in the tranny have headed south and I need to swap it out but I just wanted some opinions first lol.
Thanks Dan

thats what I figured, but thanks lol does anyone know where I can find a writeup on how to remove the tranny. I've heard that the exhaust manifold has to come off is this true? Any guide to removing it would be appreciated!
search google and stuff. There are tons of write ups on trans swaps. I always pull my engine and trans as one when I do swaps it's easier for me since I live out on a farm and don't have a shop. But you can do a swap with the engine still in the engine bay. you have to weasel it out the pass fender well.
