Also, in my 94 if I take off easy then stomp on it hard you can feel it engauge aroudn 4-4500 rpm's.... It just pushes you back a touch

well i guess i will stick with my stock engine for now it has some kick to it but that'll just do till i figure out what i can do with it since it is in really good condition

OR....you could look for an engine out of a wrecked 96 or 97 EX. That will be VTEC and a direct fit. 15 extra HP. This would ONLY be if you really wanted to refresh your engine bay with a lower mileageengine though. I am not suggesting you go through all that hassle for only 15 extra hp. Check your local salvage yards, then check with a mechanic. See how much it would cost, then think about it.

Its possible I have a 96 accord lx with 368,456 miles and Ive had two engines. I had a family friend in alabama do a f22b2(non vtech) swap to a 98 f23a1 (vtech) To be honest when i opened the hood I couldnt tell the difference all F series Honda engines look exactly a like and fit all accords from 1990 to 2002. It costed a total of 900 dollars. But the horse power gain is well worth. I juss tap and it take plus the 96 is much lighter than the 98 body stlye.
