Default 97 6 cyl timing belt

so my wife drives the 97 accord, it's a 6 cyl, and she doesn't know whether or not she has ever had the timing belt replaced, it's upwards of 140,00 miles right now, and i'm pretty set on having it replaced within the next couple of months. my question is if anybody has either done it themselves (and how long/involved is the process on this particular engine) or an estimated cost to just have someone else do it. basically i'm wondering if it's a project i'd like to undertake, or if it's just cheap enough to have a mech. do it.
thanks.

i ran into some instructions on how to change the timing belt for a 97 v-6 honda accord but i cant remember exactly wat website BUT i do know i ran into it searching on google.com so try that or there are a few videos on youtube as well. If you do it yourself it should take bout 4 hours max depending on your skills. I think its best that u change it now, the sooner the better. If you wait the belt could break then that could cause some engine damage. I hope that helps some. Good Luck!
