Automatic will Rev after each shift

I have an Automatic 1999 Accord 4 cyl and after the trans shifts it will rev. Also, when in park and I rev the engine the car will almost stall, but then bring itself back up to 800 rpm. Thank you for the help. Philip

1st step is to diagnose the coil per the DIY instructions ..... also look for arcing from the wires at night.

What is the primary coil resistance and secondary coil resistance? It is for a 1999 Honda Accord LX 4 cyl.

These are my results.

primary coil resistance - .5 ohms
secondary coil resistance - 20.4 kilohms
