Ok, I am really pissed right now. Installed the new head, aligned everything for top dead center on both cams and crank, put the chain on, and then everything else. Turned it over to test compression, I still have nothing. What the hell? Could I have missed something and messed up another set of valves? I did everything by the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No compression on any cylinder? Any strong resistance (compression strokes) when turning over?

If yes, then suspect your compression gauge is either rigged wrong or defective.

If no resistance when turning over, something is wrong. Most likely the valves are not sealing.

Check camshaft/crankshaft alignment carefully before any further rotation.

good luck

Valves are not sealing. Non of the intake valves, aggressive and non aggressive lobes. How can I makes them seal better? Thank you for all your help by the way, people like you are the reason forums are so great.

How are you sure intake valves are not sealing? Are they not opening or stuck open? Bent? Were valve/rocker arm gaps adjusted? No compression on any cylinder?

What did engine alignment check show?

It sounds like you may have been sold a defective head.

If valves were never correctly seated they might leak but should develop some compression. If adjusted incorrectly, they might never close and no compression would result.

good luck

Second head also has bent valves, just not as bent as the original. Fun times
