the battery light has been coming on in my 1991 accord. it goes off when i hit the gas and comes back on when i let go. im pretty sure its the alternator but i wanted to check before i bought on. my battery is also pretty old so should i just replace both?

 

Probably, but you might want to look it over for loose wires/connectors.

 

Go to your local AutoZone and have them both checked for Free, then you wont have to worry about that..
