BEEF UP F22 OR H22
I'll need a shop to pull the sleeves and put the new ones in (sleeves are the actuall metal cylinders the pistons travel in). But the rest I can myself, and you could too with some research and stuff.
I haven't put any money into it yet, but I'm trying to stay below $3000 for the motor. That will included new t-belts, water pump, rod and crank bearings, and valve springs in addition to the valves, pistons, and rods I mentioned earlier. I'd also like to have the exhaust side ported on the head.

I was in the same boat. Beef up the F or get H and I decided the F would be better for boosting. For those who pieced together the turbo kits, do you have any recommendations. I have found an almost complete kit for 1850 w/o down pipe. Here is the link. http://www.treadstoneperformance.com...2+engine+94-97
Is this good or crap??
Thanks

04+ TL are sub 6 sec 0-60 cars unfortunately they have gotten fatter since then so you need a new TL type S to get the performance back..
If your current engine is in good shape it will be FAR cheaper to turbo it than to do a swap
