Bogging/sputtering experts needed
Well where do I start First. 2002 accord auto, 4cyl f23a1.
i recently swapped the engine from another car that had bad trans. Mine had a blown head.
I got a first time start on the swap and it ran well for the first couple days till I had the a/c recharged. Ever since then I’ve been having this really bad bog / sputter after I drive the car around 20/30 min. The car starts at a low idle then eventually get up to normal idle. I can’t seem to figure this thing out.
things I have done to fix this issue.
new distributor cap
new rotor
new wires
new spark plugs
new catalytic converter
new upstream o2 sensor
new air intake
swapped the throttle body
bunch of new hoses for vacuum lines
megan racing headers with down pipe.
cleaned out intake manifold ( EGR ports)
added seafoam in the gas.
I just had the cat replaced and I got a few blocks up the road and it was to a point it would not move with acceleration. I tried turning on the car and it would crank but it seems like it’s not getting fuel.
would this whole issue just be my fuel pump is faulty? I am desperate and don’t want to put more money in this car than I already have. Please where are the experts.
