Smile Engine Skip Intermittant

1995 Honda Accord Wagon LS..... 4 cylinder. 168260 miles.

Pronounced skip at low speed and loss of power when accelerating form idle. Not good for entering roads and crossing intersections. Miss is not apparent at interstate speeds.

Things done: New Coil, New wires, New lower and upper plug hole gaskets installed. Removed plenum and cleaned Idle Air Unit on intake.
Car runs reasonably well most of the time, but these intermittent misses are worrisome
I pulled the ignition wire spark plug nipples from the head and noticed some condensation because I had not completely seated the covers on the valve cover. This improve the issue considerably, but still having some of the problem particularly on cold start up.

Any Suggestion?
Thanks
Prof

Partially blocked EGR ports can cause a lean stumble at 1500-2000 rpm when acceleration is initiated. Feels like the car pauses before accelerating. Fix is to remove/clean the EGR feed path, EGR manifold and ports into the intake manifold.

If EGR problem doesn't match your symptoms, you've pretty much eliminated spark as an issue (new cap and rotor or careful inspection suggested).

Fuel pressure could be checked and fuel injectors cleaned. Plenty of DIY procedures on youtube for cleaning fuel injectors or send them off to a cleaning service (ebay).

good luck
