I'm new to Hondas and am looking to buy a 1997 Accord EX 4 cyl. which has 170k miles on it.I'm not new to old cars with old Air Cond. problems.My first question is, are both fans supposed to start when the engine is started with the air off? Or does the condensor fan start only when the air is turned on?When I turned the air on it seemed to be not very cool until I drove it on a good test drive then it seemed ok.At idle it was not near as cool.The car was sitting in the hot sun all day so it, like some cars took awhile to cool the car down.The compressor did kick on and off a few times while I had the hood popped for a few minutes while checking evrything out.Any insight is helpful.thanks
