Default car feels slower

When i fist got my accord it had a decent kick to it when i would accelerate on the highway but now it feels more like a 2 yr old pulling you back. My friends have told me that its prolly my belt for my vtec is getting stretched dued to over time or so. I also have another problem now when im accelerating steadly at about 3000-3500 rpms as soon as my car goes from 2nd to 3rd gear it jerks like my cousin's shifting skills on his car.

When was the belt changed last? If it breaks you are basically screwed, as it will destroy your engine. Look in your mainual for intervals to change it. How hard do you drive your Accord?

Umm...VTEC is engaged/disengaged with a locking pin on the camshaft actuated by oil pressure...there is no belt for it.
