Default considering head swap...

I want to have vtec on my engine without doing a full engine swap.. I know you can bolt a vtec head up to a non vtec block... but for a 90-93 accord, what vtec head shall I use.. I dont want super high compression, simply because I am going to boost it...

so what vtec head should I get? and are the exhaust ports the same? cause I want to bolt my 90-93 turbo manifold to the new vtec head..

If you want vtec you are going to need a new ecu also. I am not sure which vtec head would match to that engine. Maybe an f22b1?

whatever youre gonna spend even if this works wont be worth the small amount of hp you would get from it. not very helpful to your question i guess..or was i...

The most direct bolt-up would be the H23 head. All F and H engines (with the exception of the F20 from an S2000) are interchangable with varying degrees of modification. BUt the H23 is the most direct fit on the F22A if you just want DOHC. The H22A head also bolts up very nicely.

the H head is better for NA, the F head is better for boost or nitrous

You would be able to do this. They call it a "G23." Do a google search or go check out www.6thgenaccord.com. That's where I found out about it. I searched on there and I think I found a link to a G23 build from another forum. It's been a while back so I can't remember for sure. The G23 is either a combo of an F23 block with h22 head or an F23 block with h23 head....I can't remember which.
If you swap an h22 head on there, you would be able to use many of the h22 mods (more available than for f23)

I imagine you would have to replace. The intake might fit.
