Default Coolant leak problem..need help!

Hello every one,

Just bought a 96 Accord EX with approx 147K on the clock. It has had its radiator changed, head gasket and other stuff replaced too by the previous owner. I have had this car for approx 10 days and it drove great, its just that today when i was parking it i noticed that the coolant was leaking. It was some where near the passenger side door and was not leaking from either the radiator or the reservoir box. I am attaching a pic for your reference. Please let me know what could possibly be wrong, taking it to a mechanic on thursday. Thank You

if you pop the hood can you see any coolant any ware? Check around the thermostat area too. When the engine is cold try and squeeze the top radiator hose and see if you see any leaks. Be careful tho cus if your hoses are going bad you might break or crack one.

Just popped the hood and pressed the hoses, could not see any leak. one big pipe going to the radiator was a bit wet downwards when i felt it (could be due to over spray from the initial leak). I did some research so thankfully the water pump is on the right side so its not leaking from there. Any other ideas? thank you

It might be from the heater hoses or the valve in the heater hose. If the initial look didn't tell you anything, you might want to get/rent/borrow a pressure tester. You can pressurize the system cold, to help find the leak.

@ALL

Thank you so much for your replies. I got the system pressure tested and it was a problem with one of the heater hoses. I also got the air filter and spark plugs changed in the process. God Bless!
