Default does adding an aftermarket pully affect your AC and power steering in a bad way?

i was reading from andysautosport and it said
"By increasing the diameter of these pulleys, you slow down the power steering, alternator and air conditioning unit, reducing the amount of energy needed to drive them."
slow down the power steering, is that a bad thing?
