electrical problems
i have a 94 accord that has recently had break work done to it and about week or so later the car is falling apart, i cant roll power windows up, wont go in to gear and everytime i put a fuze in the motor catches on fire. what will make this happen im sure a short but dont know where to look for it.

If a primary (high amperage fuse is blowing), then a direct short exists somewhere. You should be able to isolate which circuit by measuring resistance from the shorted fuse (outlet) to ground. It should show a very low (near zero, < 0.1 ohms) resistance. Sequentially pull the other fuses in underhood box and check the resistance level after each pull. When circuit w/ short is pulled, the resistance should increase, but not by a much (few tenths of ohm perhaps).
For instance if 100 ohm fuse is blowing, then normal load is perhaps 50 amps, or ~0.2 ohms load resistance.
good luck
