You mount it on the engine and somewhere on the engine bay to stop the engine from torquing int he mounts when you give it gas.... Its basically the cheaper, less effective way of getting solid engine mounts.

It aims at stopping wheel hop, which is the motor moving back and forth under load. It isnt really needed unless you spend alot of time at the drag strip.

Finch I have "solid" motor mounts and still get dumb amounts of wheel hop at the track, maybe i should get one of these.

ETD isn't only for track use. Mine is custom mounted in addition to poly mounts and I can spin without wheel hop whenever I want to take a few miles off of my tires

The polys do a lot more than the ETD when you compare one to the other. On my car, we did the mounts and played with it for a while to see where the additional support was needed and in what direction. Then the ETD mount was custom made to improve the effect of the poly. I never actually drove the car with just poly ..... it all went on the same day.
