engine slows at 5k rpm in 1st

engine slows at 5k rpm in 1st
so basically when i go around a corner and it gets up to 5k in 1st gear the engine starts to stutter on me but then it kicks up to like 6-6200 rpm. so im wpndering what gives becuz i just cant firure out what is wrong with it. the fuel goes to the engine but does get up to top rev.
