Isn't the F22A1 the same as the F22A2 except the A2 have diffrent headers? there might be more to it, Ive worked on both engines for my 91 honda accord and my friend's 92 accord and I dont notice anything diffrent there compression ratios are the same and horsepower are too, I may be wrong.

there is no f22a2. Your thinking of the f22a4 has the tubular header design. Then you have the f22a6 that has a 2 stage intake manifold and a more aggressive cam shaft with a slightly better cast exhaust manifold than the f22a1. ALL f22a/b engines have the same compression ratio 8:8:1 with the exception of the f22b (jdm dohc) engine that is 9:2:1 (I believe)
All 3 f22a engines have different hp ratings.

ok i figured i had something wrong, wht my friend was told about his engine was a F22a2 from some mechanice at a honda dealer and now wht you have told me its a f22a4 i can see tht, anyway since the compression is low enough in the F22a1 i could add a turbo and run it at 2 or 3psi or is it better to swap it out with something else?

You can also check the engine-block serial # plate near the bellhousing for the F22-?-? stamped down there.

Yes with that low of c/r you can throw about 10psi safely and pull ABOUT 280hp out of it.
