Ecu stamp HL5 net says 96 accord
net for vin says its supposed to have f22b2 engine(thought thos didn't have vtec ?)
Reason for search previous owner said engine was replaced due to blown...never gave details
Bought a spare salvage titled 94 accord EX for parts extra engine body kit rim's etc...
Engine was block stamped f22b1
Same top as mine
But distributor was 7 pin connector neither has e external coil
diagnostic since bought has has o2 sensor #2 and vtec malfunction new code is cylinder position sensor error : no signal within last 6 month and still after 3 new 5 pin distributors 1 new crank shaft sensor new sparks and wires dug into wire harness behind distro and there was 4?5? Wires jumped together right before engine bay wall connector next to fuse box .....still drops rpm when given gas from a dead stop sometimes to the point of cut off out of no where nothing was done to engine until new engine killer code
