Just was wondering if anyone else was using them and think they are worth the extra money. Just changed the oil yesterday and installed my second TRT filter. If I remember correctly, I saw something that said the only noteable Fram filters were the TRT and double extended version.

 

First off Fram simply doesn't make very good filters, there are better choices available for less money. As far as the TRT goes they don't specify what it releases into the oil......just that it's a gel additive. It's only my opinion but NO, it's not worth any extra money. If I want some unknown goop in my engine I'll pour it in myself thanks.
