Default Front and rear balance shaft question

Am putting new timing belt on my 93 accord. Am wondering how important the front and rear balance shaft aligned in the dot properly. The car starts now, after doing the timing belt. But I never notice the balance shaft alignment on the dot.

If it were my car I would definitely take it back apart and make sure it is aligned properly. The whole idea of them is to keep the engine balanced, so if they aren't aligned they are essentially making the engine out of balance.
