Red face Gas type Question

Hello to all

i have just bought an 05 Accord EX, 4 Cylinders
and i think that its spending so much gas than it should

i'm using the unleaded (cheapest) type of gas right now and i know a friend that has an 04 accord with the same engine and he is using the same gas but he is not having any problems

please help guys , do i need to change the type of gas i'm using? or their is some thing else i need to check, and i don't have the driver's manuel with me
THANX

its def something else. one of your O2 sensors might be off or your ECU could be misreading something. these could be causes of something messing with your air/fuel mixture. I think the car might be injecting more fuel than his. also, do u have a heavy foot?

It's most likely your driving habits and/or driving conditions.

Well i thought that it might be me but i don't think so because i tried to keep a light foot on the second tank that i filed up and its still the same

i guess i will have to have checked out, it might be the sensors or something

Yeah, take it to Honda and have them diagnose it for you (they should do that for free), then let us know what they say.

Well guys i guess the filter wasn't the problem

the car is still spending more gas than it should and i don't know what to do

i think the best thing is to have the dealer check it,
