is there a govenor on a 2002 accord 2.3L?

 

Ya its right under the blinker fluid release valve.

 

yes 118mph. it's in the engine management software and the only way to remove it is to reprogram the ecu.

 

So that's were they've been hiding it...

That reminds me, I need to change my blinker fluid soon.

 

there's blinker fluid? i was wondering why my blinkers started to sound a lot better after getting some major maintenance done with bg power flush steering system and steering flush in general at honda a few months back.

 

so the only way to take off the govenor is to reprogram the ecu??

 

yeah, it's burnt into the chip. You'd have to reflash it or chip it.
