Max torque: 195 ft.lbs @ 4700 vs. 156 ft. lbs @ 5250

NO CONTEST!!!

You could even get the one with 11:1 CR that makes 220HP and the J30 would still be better. Why you ask? Re-read my last post.

go for it!!! We are comparing the same car with different motors. Now find me a spec on the 6th gen with an unmodded H22.

are you joking?do you honestly believe a 6th generation witha stock J30 will not dominate a 6th generation with an H22?wow...you are really clueless... a J30 will leave a H22 behind...there is a HUMONGOUS difference torque.

I am not even going to argue on this issue, because any one here who has a 6th generation accord knows that a J30 and H22 cannot compare.

there is no benefit to swapping a J30 to H22(except the fact that H22 comes in an option of manual or auto, while J30 only has auto).theres just disbenefits. Gas consumption are fairly the same.

The J30 gets 20 MPG,H22 gets 21 MPG

IN CONCLUSION, You'd have to be a complete A** to swap a H22 into the bay of a J30.

i'm agreeing thats its retarded to swap a h22 in, but saying that a h22 would be faster stock for stock as long as the h22 is not a auto, because automatic trannies are the worst thing ever invented

H22 stock will not beat a J30(period).true manual would give him an advantage but would not guarantee the race

^^^ not a fair comparison. Same gearbox. A J30 with a manual vs. the H22 will still take it. I'm not sure about the J30 with auto vs. H22 with manual, but I'd expect the auto V6 to win anyway because the 6th gen is just too heavy for the 4 banger to get any kind of pickup. All the axles see is torque.
