Default h22a1

so ive been working on getting a swap done with the JDM h22a but ive ocme across a h22a1 locally for 300 buckks...this is a quote from the CL posting "I have an h22a1 that has a bad block. it had a rode knock so i took it out. Its missing distrib, and intake man but i do have a jdm h22a manifold that i don,t want you can have it"

i know it would need alot of work but hey its 300 and i wouldnt have to worry about shipping...

do you think i could use my f22b block?

and the h22a1 is USDM right? OBD1 ?

You could use your f22b block with some work, but it wouldnt make as much power as just a h22.

h22a1 is usdm.

in my opinion it would probably cost just as much if not more to fix that engine than it would just to buy one that is working.
