Default Help save my cb7

I've got a 91 Honda Accord SE I have a problem with the idle I've checked all the hoses that I can find replace the throttle body and all the sensors and it's still idles High. So high that when I put it in gear the tires chirp and when I let off the break it takes off and will stay running at 45 mph without even giving it gas it's got to be something I'm missing. I also notice that the transmission is starting to slip and it won't go into passing gear I don't know if that may have to do with the same problem possibly a vacuum leak? Anybody have any answers or tips?

It sounds like your throttle position sensor isn't set correctly. I'm not a mechanic but that's probably where i would start. If you werent exaggerating about 45mpĥ at idle then i would also check the linkage concerning your gas pedal. Just my 2cent im super curious what you find, so keep the forum posted.
