Usually in a tune up you change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, and fuel filter. You have a V6 so changing the spark plugs might be a little tricky and you might even have to take the intake manifold to get to the rear bank of cylinders. As for how much it costs, i dunno since i don't pay labor usually. Also, at 116k miles you are due for a timing belt pretty soon so getting the timing belt and water pump changed would be a very good idea. I think that it costs something like $400 to have a timing belt installed. Timing belts are a little bit harder to do, but if you think that you can do it go for it. I've never done a timing belt but i've always wanted to so one of these days ill get my chance.

the rear bank of plugs can easily be accessed with a good set of tools. there is plenty of room to fit your hand in, and all the engine covers can be removed with a butter knife

I didn't know about the Accord V6 since i've never worked on one, i did work on a V6 3000GT that is FWD and i know for a fact that the IM has to be removed to take the plugs out.

ngk for plugs ONLY.....ngk wires are good too, but there are even better ones like nology. fuel filter air filter cap rotor can be purchased at your local auto store. getting honda parts at the dealership is always best. atf z1 trans fluid should only be used.

If you are gonna change the trans fluid, make sure you have it flushed. Don't just drain the pan and refill it because you will only take out a fraction of the fluid inside the trans. What you do for a flush if you don't have a machine is to disconnect the line going to the trans cooler. Then put the hose into a bucket or something and add fluid into the trans cooler. Continue adding trans fluid until the fluid coming out is the same color as the fluid coming in. I've never done this before, but that is the procedure that my teacher told me when i inquired about it. You can take it to a trans shop and pay them like $100 to do it for you.
