seriously??...youre serious right??...sadly...i, in fact, do know a thing or two....now as far as you saying i dont know my mouth from my a$$ is definitely preposterous....i know a thing or two about cars...and the fact that you let the HID thing get to you....wow like you said i was only defending myself...so...is it so wrong to defend myself??...maybe not in the USA.....and point number 2...the fact that i put a spectre intake and a flowmaster on my car was not to make little Finch13 happy..it was indeed to make myself happy...and actually if you heard what my honda sounds like you would agree that it technically doesnt sound like a flow...so get over it on that part....the spectre?? heh...i agree couldve done better yes...but at the time its all i saw...wasnt too shabby about ordering online and since i live in a small area...(mesquite)..there arent many perfor. shops around...and id be D*mned if i go 20 miles just to get a part...so the online buying yes im starting over on that for the simple fact that i had a bad experience on that....you can understand it...cant you??...and my third point....i dont take anyones advice seriously??...really?..is that what you think??...see the fact is that when i ask a question....then i get answers.....mostly i get requests to rephrase the question ok......i do so.....then i start to get answers......and when i get those answers yes...i do take them seriously because if they werent then you wouldnt post them would you not??...now just because i have something to say doesnt mean im not taking them seriously....if you didnt know something and you asked about it and they gave you an answer...wouldnt you question it a little bit...just to get cleared up what you already have in your head??....i talk to mechanics....."car junkies"....so called experts and people on here....so i have my share of knowledge....thing is i just want to get cleared up what i already know...with you guys.....IS THAT SO WRONG??.....i dont think so....and on this thread....it wasnt even that bad....finch honestly you kinda overreacted....the fact that we were talking in such high numbers yea i get it...not very reachable...but ok i know that now.....you cant even give me the BOTD that i just need a few things cleared up??...h&ll i didnt know right off the bat that a turbo costs over 2g's with parts and what not....no i didnt...thats exactly why i come here..TO GET ANSWERS....NOT TO SHOW OFF WHAT I ALREADY KNOW.....just because i googled something....what its wrong??...thats how i found this website in the first place...GOOGLE....so i read up on my own and then asked about it....is that so wrong??..no its not....so as far as im concerned the only true damage was yes....the HID thread...which is done and over....i had no hard feelings towards falkore....or even the main guy t00fatt...me and him havent had any rude words because well its over and done....its not like i hated the guy....and you finch...you.....you backed me up...you pretty much understood where i was coming from....and now youre getting mad because i started talking in unreachable areas??..no...thats not how it works....like i said i still appreciate everything and all the answers ive been given....they still dont go to waste....
Master,

Yes, I overreacted a bit yesterday and I apologize. I do not mind helping people who are asking questions, hell, I answer the same intake/exhaust/header questions day after day. Everyone starts at the same spot regarding cars and engines, so I know exactly where youre coming from, I was there myself once.

If you want to drop over $10k into your car, go for it, Id be interested in seeing the progress. But, the idea is very farfetched and rare. An all out build is usually not undertaken by an 18 year old, but more of an experienced tuner with a shop and sponsors. Thats all I got angry about. You came here a few weeks ago with intake and HID questions and now were talking about a full engine build. Can you see where I would think youre just blowing smoke?

In the end, I will keep answering your questions, no matter how foolish they are, with an honest answer because thats what Im here for. I didnt sign up to knock noobs around because I was a noob once too and the same members you see now were ones that helped me out in the beginning, minus a few. Now that I got everyone crying with my sob story, can we talk about cars again?

PS - I didnt make that Google comment, that was CurrantKord

*cough*

ANYWAYS....300whp on a K block is completely feasible. And it won't come at a cost of an arm and a leg (just a leg :P). So the person who's trying to get his Honda spankin' fast...talk to nikos over at k20a.org.

Or pick up this months issues of Import Tuner or is it Modified Mag? They have a full article on a G23 complete build that makes something like 250 hp for $6k

A full K-swap will cost an arm and a leg though... somewheres around 10 gwap, yeah i said it, gwap. And dreman over at 6thgenaccord.com has a his K-swap thread too, its called "Man, I love Special K" or something... he will be the first to have swapped a k into a 6th gen to my knowledge.

well live2rice i appreciate what you said...because you get what im saying....and finch...dont worry about yesterday...we all have those days ya kno??..and i dontknow maybe i overreacted too...but yes i can fully understand why and where youre coming from...and as for the google comment...lol...i know it wasnt you...i was kinda directin it towards him it just got caught up in your msg....but yea i apoligize also for just asking questions that have been repeatedly answered.....maybe i will check out that other site u mentioned.....but yes...back to cars....and omg dont kill me for this one...but i was at autozone last night to get mesome NGK performance spark plugs.....VERY NICE MIGHT I ADD....and i asked oneof my home girls who is def. a car junkie/tomboy about the turbo im getting...im like im gonna put a turbo in there...but just a small one..and shes like no. you will have to redo alot of things like your fuel pump and blah blah blah...she said just get a supercharger.....not the one that hangs out the hood but the ones that they used to put in the old buick models....so before i jump to any conclusions...im coming here....to ask about it...is she talking the truth or a load of it??...because throughout HAF all i see is turbo nothing really about superchargers

If you were just running a turbo, and not a full engine build with just a few PSI the only thing I would upgrade is the injectors.

As far as a supercharger goes, even if one did exist(which it doesnt), you would have to upgrade the same fuel system parts, as a supercharger is really the same idea, force air into the engine, just gets its power via a different method.

I dont think there is a supercharger for the f23... I know Comptech made one for the V6, but it was discontinued when they went under.

As far as what she said, with any forced induction, you need to upgrade a lot of things depending on what amount of boost or pressure you run. You have an AT that will probably crap out pretty quick with boost, Id look into a manual swap first and then go boost.

You can run about 8psi on stock internals, that skeetingclaybird kid on here (and V6P) was allegedly running 11psi on his V6. Your F23 has Fiber Reinforced Metal (FRM) cylinder sleeves, so they cant handle as much pressure as, say, an F22 with iron sleeves could.

If you really want to get creative, you could swap in a J32 or J35 V6 with a CL-S 6speed manual and forget the boost. Thats a looot of power there.

Have fun doing that lol.

If you want huge power either H22 turbo or K24 turbo, both you are prob looking at $15,000 to do.

good points good points....but thing is i seriously dont kno how to drive a stick...i mean its weird because in the newer model cars i use the standard option most of the time and on my car i jus downshift and shift up.....and i think i know how to drive a stick jus never been behind the wheel of one...if i did well i would have had a manual honda....but if im not mistaken....ive watched alot of tv and movies..lol...i think its...gas.....clutch...then shift....thats all i know...but thats as far as accelerating

so they dont even have a supercharger...hmm...sometimes i truly wonder if she knows what shes talking about....
