Default Installing Indiglow Gauges

Hi, I have some really cool indiglow gauges and wanted to do it with by myself and with with a friend of mines (Honda Mechanic). He havn't tried indiglow guages before and don't know the steps of doing it. For my car...its the 98 Accord so I had to pull the whole odometer off...take off the plastic cover...and then im @ the odometer. However, I can't just put the indiglow over the old one because the needle won't move if i do that. I think about cuting off the old face and replacing it? Does that work? Please help me. Step by step process would be EXCELLENT!!! THANKS!!!

Default RE: Installing Indiglow Gauges

i helped a friend do this to his 96 neon. All we had to do was pull the needles off, peel off the old face, and place the new one on. Then put the needles back on. The only problem we encountered was that the spedo needle didnt work. Gas & temp worked. I dont know if that helps any. maybe try going to a bone yard and finding your car in there and experementing with how the needles come off. Atleast thats what i would do
