also.. if it smells all burned.. does that mean it was a one time thing or a guaranteed sign of engine/transmission failure

you'll have to find out what's wrong first. Gaurenteed, something is burning. It doesn't mean you cooked your bearings or blew a transmission. Find the source of the burning smell and go from there, no need to worry yourself just yet! You'd be surprised what kind of beating a honda can take.

let me get this right........You want me to take a pic ??? of where the leak might be on your car ?? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,so i get a camera, find a car similar to yours which i do not know year and model, take a pic and post it here............MMMMMM...

No offense my friend but don't you think that's asking way too much ?? isn';t it your job to take a pic and post it here ?? have you even opned up the hood yet and look for an obvious leaks??

you definately have some sort of problem that is not going to go away on its own. it could be as small as a leaky oil filter dripping on the exhaust. but i have a feeling its something more than that. if you just bought the car, then try to take it back and never ever again just go out and buy a car without having a certified professional right there with you checking it out.

1. leaky valve cover gasket?
2. leaky trans?
3. Leaking crankshaft seal? (this recall just like DH's library card has expired ).
4. leaky oil filter due to improper installation?
