I drive a 2001 Honda Accord Ex and she just rolled over 80k last week. I just started noticing when i'm driving around town at night especially at night that when i'm at a traffic light at idle the dash lights get dim.I'm i'm crusing around yeah i know the lights may be a bit brighter but i've never noticed them dim down when i'm at traffic light before

 

I notice this sometimes on my 2000 accord, especially with the AC and/or stereo on. Usually happens when the A/C compressor kicks in and the RPM at idle drops.

 

same thing happened on my 89 around 140k... i ended up uting a new alternator in the thing and it fixed the problemb.

you may want to check your output amps from your alternator to make sure it isnt going bad.
