Hello is there a VIN # stamped on engine for 94 Honda Accord EX?

Or is it just Dashboard, door frame, and engine firewall?

Curious because I am registering a Out of state vehicle that has the engine swapped.(I know DMV will verify vins to register)

It is on the back of the engine under the oil filter. They would have to jack the car up to see it. I highly doubt they will check this, I have never had the DMV even look out the window to see my car, never mind jack it up to check the engine. Plus its not illegal to have a different engine in the car.

 

1994 was before the DOT required a VIN plate on all those other parts. I'd expect that a 94 would only have the block serial number, and would not have the additional plate with the VIN.
